Obituary

Our loving Mother, Hattie M. Bradshaw, a selfless, generous, strong independent person till the end, was the pillar of our family. After 100 faithful years on this earth, she has finally gone home to her Jesus. We will miss her terribly, but we know she is at last with her God. She grew up in Rock Creek, WV (Boone County)and was the daughter of the late Alfred and Leathee Brown Miller and was born on April 13, 1913. She attended grade school there and was a member of the Rock Creek Church of Christ. She for the last 35 years had attended the Belpre Church of Christ. She married the late W. T. Bradshaw in 1934 with whom she owned and operated the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Danville, WV and had owned the Mercy Corps Ambulance Service in Parkersburg.

Survivors include her son Jack (Jane) Bradshaw of Belpre, a daughter, Ella Frances Milligan of Belpre, her grandchildren, Vicki (Bob) Drain, Ira (Kay) Thompson, Gina (John) Caltrider, Craig (Debbie) Shively, Brent Shively, Lisa (John) Adair, Tracey Buehler, Eric (Lori) Bradshaw, Kevin Bradshaw, Greg (Crystal) Bradshaw, David Kalkreuth, Lora Milligan, and Rick Milligan. Also surviving is 22 great grandchildren, and 8 great, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter Janet Shively, infant son, Richard Lee Bradshaw, a great grandson, Mark Pansing, and 8 brothers and sisters.

Services will be on Thursday at 1:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Ron Laughery officiating . Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00, and 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
